PTEE is an on-location, internationally-accredited theological education program designed to train and equip Arabic-speaking Christians and church leaders to fulfill your ministry calling as part of your local church and in your community. The education by extension methodology brings theological education to you – where you live, work, and serve – you do not have to leave your family, your job, or your church to study! Studying with PTEE is accessible, affordable, and available to students who live anywhere in the Arab World and the Arab diaspora.
Our VISION is to develop leaders through theological education by extension for the growth of the church and the positive transformation of society in the Arab world. Our MISSION is to provide evangelical theological education by extension to equip Christians for leadership wherever they live in the Arab world for the advancement of the Kingdom.
PTEE provides theological education and leadership training for all Christians, from those called to serve as pastors and teachers to those called to serve in other aspects of ministry and community life. PTEE works with local churches and through local churches to provide Biblically trained leaders for Arabic-speaking churches.
PTEE offers 40 university-level degree courses. Students can earn a Certificate of Theology, Diploma of Theology, and B.A. in Theology accredited by the Asia Theological Association (ATA) and the Middle East Association for Theological Education (MEATE). The PTEE curriculum encourages you to go deeper in your knowledge of the Word of God, to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ, to grow in prayer, to grow in ministry skills, and become more Christ-like in relationships with your family and community – all in the context of your real life, real community, marketplace and ministry.
PTEE also offers a vocational Certificate of Ministry made up of 21 courses aimed to disciple and equip you to serve effectively in a range of ministries in your church and contribute to your community.
PTEE is a member-based organization whose General Assembly members (governing body) include denominations and individuals from the Arab World, Europe, and North America as well as the National Committees. The National Committee in each Arab country served by PTEE is responsible for program oversight in their country.
